Meet The Team

Julie Roberton
​Managing Director

I have created my company to provide business administration and support to SMEs. For me, it's about providing excellent customer service and building good working relationships with my clients. All our administration tasks from typing transcripts, managing diaries or minuting meetings will be done professionally and to the highest standards.

My experiences include working as an Administration Manager at the Solicitors Regulation Authority for many years and more recently as an Administration Manager in a busy training team at the Freight Transport Association. I have attended various management training courses and have management and business qualifications. 

Since starting my own administration and secretarial company I have built up a portfolio of professional clients the majority of which have been referrals from existing satisfied clients. Examples of the types of work undertaken are listed below:
  • Board Secretary for a Local Charity – managing agendas and minuting meetings
  • HR Administration - Recruitment, Screening and Advertising
  • PA duties including diary management, setting up training events
  • (including identifying suitable venues and vetting, if required)
  • Marketing and lead generation/making appointments 
  • Data cleansing in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations             

When I am not working on my business or helping you with yours, I will be spending time with my family and friends and training and walking my new border collie puppy. I enjoy exploring new places and meeting people and one of the best things about running my own company is meeting and talking to all the interesting and talented people I regularly liaise with.

We have a very experienced team on board who have exceptional skills and experience and I am confident if you allow us to provide our services you will not be disappointed and come back again and again.

Charlotte Skinner
Accounts Assistant

During my time at JR Admin Assist Ltd I have gained experience in many areas including audio transcription, email and diary management, assisting with recruitment processes, monthly payroll duties, data entry and preparing documents using Microsoft packages. I have developed good relationships with colleagues and clients and will always ensure that my work is completed to a high standard.

I have completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship and BTEC in Business Administration at JR Admin and have more recently completed AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting; I am due to start Level 3 in September 2019. 

Penny Richardson
Personal Assistant 

I am a trained touch typist and an experienced data administrator. 

My main role is to provide support to Julie to manage the business. My strengths in the team are my numeracy and analytical skills. I complete general administrative tasks and type correspondence and transcripts for clients. I am very conscientious, flexible and hardworking. I am keen to learn and develop my knowledge and skills and support Julie to develop the business and make the office run as smoothly and as efficiently as possible. 

 Gloria Spiers
Accounts Administrator

I am a highly motivated secretary/personal assistant with 24 years’ experience with the Law Society/Solicitors Regulation Authority working at Director level. More recently I have been working in a customer services role within the probate industry. 
 
My key strengths and skills are:
  •  Fully experienced in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Bespoke Management Systems
  • Problem solving and effective decision making skills based on knowledge and experience
  • Customer focused, always willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent standards of service
  • Communication skills
  • Budgeting and auditing expenditure
I am very conscientious and always strive to provide an excellent service and enjoy the variety of work we receive at J R Admin Assist Ltd.
